On Monday 25th November, our Upper Sixth Politics pupils were invited to an exclusive talk delivered by former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, at Reuters’ Headquarters.

Ahead of the UK’s election next month, Blair criticised both parties for ‘peddling fantasies’ in the ‘weirdest election’ of his lifetime. In a rather gloomy speech, Blair warned against the rise of populism and and urged everyone to vote on 12th December. Thank you to Mr Axel Threlfall, a parent at Francis Holland School for providing us with such a wonderful opportunity in these turbulent times!
