Our 2024 Sports Tour to South Africa was an undeniable triumph!

It was an incredible journey, filled to the brim with remarkable experiences, captivating stories and exhilarating sports activities. Memorable moments included exploring the Langa Township amidst challenging matches, scaling Cape Point and its iconic lighthouse, mingling with penguins at Boulder’s Beach, soaring through the Elgin Valley on zip lines, engaging in joyful dances with the children of the Goedgedacht Trust, encountering four of the big five animals during our game drives, and achieving an impressive 9 wins out of 14 fixtures on tour – truly fantastic! And let’s not forget the delectable food, stunning beaches, vibrant V&A Waterfront, refreshing pools and the delightful encounters with birds and monkeys along the way!

The netball and hockey teams landed back in London on Tuesday having made memories and friends for life. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the girls, not only giving them the opportunity to hone their sporting skills but also opening their eyes to different lifestyles and new perspectives. Heartfelt thanks are extended to all the students who joined the trip, exhibiting exemplary behaviour and proudly representing the school. But above all, immense appreciation goes to the dedicated staff members who sacrificed 12 days of their holidays – Miss Percy, Miss Williams, and Mr Gough were absolutely outstanding.
