Registration for 16+ entry 2024 is now closed.

For 16+ entry, we suggest that you book on to our Sixth Form Open Evening in the Autumn Term prior to application for entry into the following academic year. Our next Open Evening will take place in September 2024.

Information for 2024 Entry

Please note the following key dates:

• Sixth Form Open Evening: Thursday 21st September 2023
• Closing date for registrations: Thursday 2nd November 2023
• Entrance examination and interview date: Friday 10th November 2023
• Offer date: Friday 1st December 2023
• Deadline to accept: Noon on Friday 8th December 2023

Applicants will be invited to take entrance examination papers in their proposed A Level subjects as well as have an interview with a member of the Sixth Form team.

External applicants are warmly encouraged to apply for our Academic Sixth Form scholarship as well as our Art, Music and Sports scholarships. Applicants for Art scholarships are invited to submit a portfolio of their work and discuss it with the Head of Art.

We always request a reference from the Head of an applicant’s current school. Offers will usually be conditional on the achievement of A or A* grades in specified GCSE subjects. It is sometimes possible for 16+ applicants to take entrance examination papers at other stages in the year.
