On Friday 10^th June, the Geography department took the Lower Fourth girls to the Thames Barrier and Crystal Building.

After enjoying a boat trip along the River Thames, the girls visited the Thames Barrier Information Centre and learned about why London needs the barrier and the future of the scheme. We then travelled to the Crystal Building where the girls browsed the interactive exhibition about Sustainable Cities before taking enjoying stunning views on the cable car across river.
