This week, we received the results of the GAIN competition, a national initiative aimed at encouraging more women to pursue careers in investment banking and finance – fields where they remain underrepresented. Running from January to Easter, the competition combines weekly lectures from female professionals with practical investing challenges.

Our students learned to analyse company financials and apply macroeconomic trends to real-world investment decisions. They were also supported by two outstanding mentors from Finn Associates, a London-based finance firm, who provided tailored guidance and shared valuable insights into careers in the industry.

Three teams represented our school, all performing admirably. One team placed in the top 10 out of 147 teams nationwide – an exceptional achievement given the competition.

Beyond rankings, all participants gained invaluable experience and skills that will benefit them for life beyond FHRP!
