Last weekend, the U13 and U14 netball team went away for the GSA netball tournament. We left on Friday morning and started our 3 hour and a half journey to Shrewsbury where the tournament was being held.

When we arrived, we learned about the incredible activities we could do. There were so many on offer, including rock climbing, laser tag, abseiling, tunnelling, several mazes, and much more were available. We decided to play laser tag first, and it was great fun! We then had a Q&A with a professional netball player Natalie Panagarry, but sadly the fun had to end since we had a major game the next day.

We prepared for our eight matchesĀ in the morning. Drills were conducted beforehand, and then the games began. We picked up a lot from both our own teammates and the other teams. We got the chance to experiment with various positions and discover fresh tactics. Overall, day one was fantastic!

The weather was not looking good on day two. However, our team persisted. Our day was fantastic in every way. All of the skills we had learned the day before were put to practise. It was a fantastic day to show off what we learnt. We ultimately had the best time ever and would absolutely do it again! Unfortunately, we then had to board the coach and come home.
