On Thursday the 7th of October, the UVI Geography students hopped on the coach to High Wycombe to research the environmental quality found in different areas of High Wycombe.

We exercised our geographical knowledge of sampling techniques and issues associated with environmental degradation. The highlight of the trip was when we conducted a river study along the River Wye, where we measured the level of biodiversity, including the catching of a crayfish! Having had our Geography trip cancelled due to COVID, we all thoroughly enjoyed a day out of London experiencing a new environment different from our own.

We are so thankful for the Geography department for organising such an enriching learning experience.
