On Monday November 9th, all of the Third year set off by coach to visit Tate Britain in Pimlico.

Touring from the historical through to the 21st century galleries and pausing to make drawings from Henry Moore’s sculptures, the girls were able to compare traditional with more contemporary trends, with a focus upon the role of women as subject and as artist. It was a packed, busy and very stimulating day!
