On Sunday 17th November U14 A’s competed in the Middlesex National Netball Tournament.

The girls were ready to go with the first match against a tough opposition St Paul’s Girls’ School. The girl’s played hard and fast against St Paul’s in the second half to close the score gap although time was not on their side finishing with 10-6 to St Paul’s. This did not get the U14’s down as they versed St Benedict’s School for their second match, they controlled the tempo of the game and continued to hold their lead till the final whistle. Next up was Notting Hill and Ealing High School, Francis Holland started off strong with a narrow lead however NHEHS came backĀ twice as hard to secure their win. The girl’s were not giving up and were ready for their fourth match of the day against Heathland School with the hope of making it to the play offs. They had won the toss and started off with the first centre, they then took off, winning the game. However finishing Pool E in third place the girl’s missed out on the playoffs. Congratulation’s to all players for their fantastic performance.Ā  Ā Ā
