Following months of meticulous rehearsals, line-learning and character building, this week saw our two casts take to the stage for exceptional performances of ‘Into The Woods’!

The plot centres around a childless couple who set out to end a curse placed on them by a vengeful witch, and the characters are forced to experience the unintended consequences of their actions. On their journey, they meet other characters from the Brothers Grimm fairy tales such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack, each one on a quest to fulfil a wish.

Any last minute tweaks were ironed out in the dress rehearsal on Monday before their first official performance on Wednesday evening!

Every individual performance was a tribute to the hard work and dedication of the students and Drama Department – each night concluding with rapturous applause. Huge congratulations to all involved and thank you to all who joined us as an audience this week to celebrate the theatrical talent we have at FHRP.
