At the very end of last term, our Upper Fourth RIBA Architects presented their projects in front of professionals from RIBA and Make Architects.

Over the course of the year, our architects have worked in collaboration with pupils from St. Marylebone School to learn about the design and build process. Pupils were tasked to create a new functional space in Regent’s Park, which required them to focus on site design, materials, sustainability, budgets and engaging stakeholders and investors.

The model projects produced and the subsequent presentations were incredible: thoughtful, innovative and creative. The architect from Make even said the presentations were more impressive that his third year architect students!

This series of workshops is just one of the highlights of our academic enrichment programme, and we are enormously proud of how well the girls involved in this year’s project have done.
