Our Divali Assembly was taken by Freya Sabharwal, Anisha Raja, Seely McManus-Patel and Smirthi Sivaramakrishnan.

The girls shared the story of Rama and Sita, explained how families celebrate the festival and gave us valuable insights into different aspects of celebrations in India.

Smirthi commented: “I thoroughly enjoyed preparing with the others for the assembly and presenting to the whole school. It gave us a chance to share the story behind Divali and the rituals we follow.”

Thank you so much to the girls for such a fascinating assembly, and especially to Anisha, who created a beautiful Rangoli pattern for the display.
