We are thrilled to announce the winner of the 2023 Travel Scholarship: Isabella Fisher Turner, who left FHS in 2021.

Isabella, who was Deputy Head Girl during her final year at Francis Holland, was awarded the Quondam Travel Scholarship to support her summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Isabella chose to take on this incredible feat during her second year of uni to support Dig Deep, a charity which works with the Kenyan government to give communities access to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.

Following the trek, Isabella commented, “This adventure was an incredible, unforgettable, and rewarding experience. I want to start by extending an enormous thank you to those who made this possible. Without the support of my friends, family, colleagues, the kindness of strangers, old teachers, the University of Edinburgh and Quondam, I would not have been able to reach the summit, let alone exceed my initial fundraising goal. Thank you.”

A huge well done to Isabella for this phenomenal achievement and for being chosen as our 2023 Quondam Travel Scholarship winner.
