On Wednesday, the Young Shakespeare Company came to FHS to give a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream that was unforgettable. They played the Mechanicals and they gave us the chance of taking on the roles of the four lovers: Helena, Hermia, Demetrius and Lysander. They also let us play the fairies, Hippolyta, Theseus and Egeus. It was really good fun and we all really enjoyed it! Our favourite character was Puck as the actor who played him was very creative and enthusiastic, which made us love it even more. Their acting skills were incredible, and we all felt included. We also learnt some key parts of the script, and the music harmonised well with the play.
