Our ongoing lecture series, Women of Influence, champions a broad and multi-faceted array of women who are leading the way in their respective industries. The girls have been privileged thus far in 2022 to hear from a range of incredible women from many different walks of life; all of whom share the common traits of remarkable strength of character, courage and resilience.
Friday 11th February saw the series take a sustainable turn, in the form of an inspiring visit from upcycling fashion entrepreneur Diane Saïd.
In the spirit of Women of Influence, Diane was interviewed by two Sixth Formers about her career, including her practice of upcycling, which favours enhancing existing materials or items rather than buying into ‘fast fashion’.
