On Wednesday night, a group of UVI students went to see Heathers: the Musical at The Other Palace Theatre to celebrate the end of our mocks. The colourful 80s costumes and clever set provided a perfect backdrop for the musical adaptation of the cult classic black comedy film. We were particularly blown away by impressive solos such as ‘I Say No’ which showed off the stunning vocals of lead character Veronica, played by Erin Caldwell. ‘Dead Gay Son’ and ‘Shine a Light’ were particular favourites and had everyone clapping and laughing along. While the teachers were a little shocked by some of the content, we all had a fabulous time and this was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a gruelling couple of weeks of mocks! Thank you so much to Ms Melchers, Mr Gridelli and the rest of the Sixth Form team for organising it!
