Members of the Lower Fifth IGCSE music set formed a choir to sing for Bishop Rowan Williams in an evensong in celebration of TS Eliot held at St Cyprian’s Church on 1st July.

With the music reflecting the plainsong that embodies the high Anglo-Catholic tradition that T S Eliot himself adored, the girls performed very well at a notable public event. Earlier in the day, Bishop Rowan gave a lecture on T S Eliot’s ‘Four Quartets’, with poems read by Amber Hill, Anna Claire Breuss-Burgess, Sophia Reznik, Helena McBurney and Alexandra Stephenson.
