The Thirds Geography trip to Hyde Park was certainly unforgettable. Furthermore, the day trip was filled with exciting, adventurous, and thrilling activities and missions to complete around Hyde Park like finding OS symbols around the park. We were separated into 4 groups and two forms went. Additionally, all of the staff and teachers from FHSRP and Hyde Park Learning Centre can be described in three words: patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. A highlight of the outing for me was when my group and I explored Hyde Park and located specific areas on a map. Another memorable moment was when the incredible teachers at the centre gave us a gigantic map of England, and we had to find the 4-figure and 6-figure grid references of certain places.

Eva-Grace stated, “I was given a lot of freedom which also allowed me to work with my team and persevere with little to no help from the teachers”.

Overall, the Thirds Geography trip was jam-packed with fun and exciting activities and was certainly a memorable yet academic experience where perseverance, knowledge, compassion, and spirit were shown and used throughout the whole day.
