Each year, all students in the Upper Fourth take part in the ‘Take Your Daughter to Work Day’. On this day, students do not attend school but instead go to ‘work’, and throughout the day experience what it feels like to work by shadowing a professional in a workplace environment. For most girls, this is their first experience of witnessing what takes place in a work environment. At the end of their workday placement, students produce a project reflecting on their experience in the workplace and what they have learnt.
