On Tuesday 16th November, some members of the Sixth Form visited the Black Cultural Archives in Brixton.

The students took part in the workshop Windrush Journeys and engaged with material from the archive to generate discussion and guided discovery of some lesser-known realities of post-war migration. In particular they were fascinated and moved by the life story of two female activists who campaigned for equal rights for the black British population- Claudia Jones and Connie Mark.
