On Monday 2nd November, the Sixth Form welcomed Jo Chavasse, Founder and CEO of Freckles Childcare, for a virtual lecture on her career path, how she started her own businesses and how she persisted through the COVID-19 pandemic. Jo spoke to us about the challenges that come with running a business, and how they have shaped her into who she is today. Jo emphasised how important it is to be able to make our own choices in life and to never give up, even when things might not go according to plan. Jo delivered a powerful message on what it means to accept failure and learn from our mistakes, and what we can learn from doing this both professionally and personally.
