Yesterday, Professor Louise Archer from the Department of Education, Communication and Society at King’s College London, came to speak to the Sixth Form about her research into ‘Femininity, Feminism and Education’.

Professor Archer discussed the findings of her research into the education of girls and boys, with a particular focus on Physics. She also discussed her own career as one of the 22% of female professors in the United Kingdom. At the end of her lively talk, many of the girls asked questions that demonstrated their interest in these topics. We are very grateful to Professor Archer for her time.
