In February Half Term, a group of students in the LV – UVI visited New York for a cultural exchange with the Chapin School. They enjoyed sightseeing in New York City, watching a Broadway show and spending a day at the Chapin School.

Here’s what Celia (Lower Sixth) had to say about the trip:

‘My favourite part of the trip was the morning we visited the Empire State Building. The weather was fairly calm on the platform so we could linger and enjoy a moment of peace with uninterrupted views of the bustling city.

‘We filled our five days with many more activities – shopping, visiting museums, seeing the Statue of Liberty and the phenomenal ChicagoĀ on Broadway, after a day at the Chapin School getting to know some really friendly students. What I enjoyed most was being able to see and take in the city, whether on foot or while travelling by subway (which comes overground often and offers great views). I only wish we could have stayed a little longer.’
