On Monday 28 June, Ms Heather Maund set up an exhibition of mosaics in the Gloucester Room.

The exhibits were created by members of Mosaic Club; a club run by our Art Department for elderly residents in the local area who live on their own. Each Monday they meet up and create their masterpieces! Unfortunately this has not been possible for much of the year, but Heather has managed to keep in contact with the members and provide them with resources to continue with their hobby.

Most of the pieces pictured were made during lockdown as the members were shielding and isolated from human contact. They can be truly proud of their work, which has been a joy to observe.

All thanks to Heather Maund, the caretaking team and the fantastic caterers who all gave up their time to create a special afternoon for our guests.
