On Saturday 11th June, four girls competed in the London Athletics Championships at Battersea Park athletics track. These girls were selected by local Borough Team Managers after competing in the Westminster Championships. Imogen Brown competed in the Junior Girls 800m and placed 7^th in her race. Ruby James competed in the Junior Girls 1500m and placed 4^th in the final. In the Junior Girls 200m, Reia Paskaralingam placed 3^rd and received a bronze medal. Charli Edge won the silver medal in the Inter Girls 1500m, placing 2^nd. The next round is the English Schools’ National Championships which requires the girls to run the national entry standards times in order to be selected. Congratulations to all!
