This week we welcomed Lower Sixth pupils and their families to the Higher Education Evening organised by the Director of Higher Education, Ms Williams.

The evening began with talks focussing on particular aspects of Higher Education. Jocelyn D’Arcy from the University Guys and Mr Bettridge discussed Overseas Application, Ms Carew and alumna Amelia Hills spoke about Art Foundation courses and Ms Melchers, alumna Mariam Mohammed, and Professor Carlo Contaldi of Imperial spoke to students interested in applying for Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine and other science degrees.

Families regrouped in the hall for Ms Williams’ main presentation and Q&A with Katja Lamping (UCL), Ciara O’Gorman (Bath), Professor Contaldi (Imperial) and Dr Ben Morgan (Oxford).

Afterwards, an Oxbridge applications talk, hosted by Ms Chapman, Dr Morgan and alumna Helena McBurney gave the opportunity for our LVI Oxbridge hopefuls to ask questions and receive advice for the application process.

Thank you to everyone who attended.
