We started the afternoon by melting tin and pouring it into water, and interpreting the shape to predict our future, which is zinngießen – a German New Year’s Eve tradition. It was a fun start to the party!

We then continued the party by watching a presentation by the Sixth Form on German traditions while eating German chocolates and cookies, and decorating gingerbread biscuits. The evening ended after listening to German music and speaking to other pupils from different year groups.

It was really fun and we can’t wait for next year!
