Monday’s Lower Fourth Science Fair Finals Night was an exhilarating celebration of innovation, curiosity, and scientific talent.
The evening opened with a buzzing science exhibition, during which our Lower Fourth pupils proudly presented their projects to a lively and inquisitive audience. From plastic-eating worms to stardust collection, the breadth of topics was nothing short of extraordinary. The girls spoke with clarity, confidence and genuine passion as they explained their research, demonstrated experiments, and shared their findings – the result of months of hard work and intellectual exploration.
The second half of the evening shifted to the presentations, where finalists had the opportunity to give in-depth talks on their projects. Each finalist delivered a polished and insightful account of their scientific journey, showcasing not only deep knowledge but also impressive communication skills.
A huge congratulations to all participants for their creativity, perseverance, and curiosity – and a special well done to Carlota and Maria, who were awarded the top prize for their exceptional research and presentation on the topic of “how do you make popping boba?”
Huge thanks to Stacey and Alice, former FHRP students and both studying STEM courses at university, for judging this year’s tough competition.
The Lower Fourth Science Fair Final was a triumph, and a true testament to the spirit of discovery that thrives at Francis Holland Regentās Park. We couldnāt be prouder of our next generation of scientists.
