On June 14th in the Thirds assembly we had our annual visit from the Gideons.
Mr Neil Bourne spoke to the girls about the Royal wedding and Megan Markels engagement ring (something they all knew about !) Continuing on the theme of uniqueness he gave some very interesting facts about the human body eg the foot has third of all bones in the body & the cornea has no blood vessels. He then shared a verse from Psalm 139 which speaks of how wonderfully we are made. He spoke of the way in which the Bible can be a help in daily life to Christians and offered them the opportunity to take a Testament as they left if they wanted to.
