This Wednesday, we were so excited to be able to host our first on site Open Evening since 2019!

All of our departments put on excellent displays, including water polo in the pool, a Hamlet workshop, all manner of artistic talents being showcased in our brand new art rooms, some epic chemistry experiments and a jaw-droppingly brilliant gymnastics display.

Our tour guides in Years 7 and 8 did us proud, cheerfully and helpfully showing around prospective Year 6 girls and their parents for the duration of the afternoon and evening.

Our Headmaster, Head Girl Sofia and Imogen in Year 9 all delivered fantastic speeches about life at FHS, made all the more impressive by the fact that they spoke no less than four times due to the unprecedented level of demand to visit our School! Four of our Year 9 and 10 parents also kindly spoke and it was a real joy to hear their perspectives on how much their daughters have enjoyed their time at FHS and have felt valued for their individual talents and passions.

Feedback has been universally great and this is testament to the pupils and staff who make our FHS Community so uniquely wonderful. Thank you to everyone involved and we wish you a happy and restful Half Term.
