Our Young Enterprise company ‘Patched’ have gone through to the next round of the competition. Their aim was to have a carbon neutral footprint so they decided to utilise existing resources to make attractive, practical and environmentally friendly consumer durables from redundant materials.
Their range of lavender bags and hair scrunchies were made from left over pieces of fabric and were extremely popular with consumers. They also produced canvas bags with various environmental messages printed with natural, plant-based ink.
The judges were impressed by their business plan, ethos and attention to detail and they were awarded Best Company in the North London Finals!
Patched have gone through to the next round of the competition on 4th June 2020.
We congratulate them and wish the company continued success!
