This week the FHS Physics Department hosted “We Do Physics”, a symposium for girls studying A Level Physics.

This gathering brought together Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth pupils doing A Level Physics across the community to encourage and inspire one another. A total of 62 physicists from four schools (St Marylebone, Camden School for Girls, FHS Sloane Square and FHS Regent’s Park) participated.  Morning sessions consisted of power mini-revision lessons, team building, and exam-based problem-solving all led by the FHS Physics Department. After a fantastic lunch provided by FHS catering, we were joined by KCL Womxn in Physics from King’s College London. They provided an interactive session to the entire group in the Hall. The activity was followed by an invaluable panel discussion led by Kings College Physicists. A successful day for all!
