This week, a group of actors from the Young Shakespeare Company came to FHS to deliver a workshop for us! They performed a section from the famous Shakespeare comedy ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Their acting was outstanding and made the audience laugh innumerable times. The cast managed to make the comedy even more fun and interactive by asking for volunteers from the audience to act as characters such as Hermia or Lysander. My favourite part of the play was when the Mechanicals where acting the tale of Pyramus and Thisbe, during the wedding, and when I was chosen to be one of Titania’s fairies. It was an amazing experience for us to see them come and summarise the play in such an entertaining way that we could easily understand and enjoy.
