On Wednesday 3rd May we had our annual Sports Award Evening.

It was hard to beat the tremendous success of last year’s but the PE department rose to the challenge and created a spectacular evening no one could forget. The guest speakers were Gail Emms (badminton world champion and Olympic silver medallist) and Camilla Buchanan (Netball Super league title winner and Sky Sports pundit). They both gave truly inspiring speeches sharing their sporting successes and learning points in their lives.

Well done to everyone who won an award and thank you to Ms Westwood for organising such a lovely event!
