On Tuesday 11th October, we once again opened the doors of our school to prospective families and their daughters for our Senior School Open Evening.

Ever the highlight of the Autumn Term, the afternoon saw four sessions of tours, talks and lessons in action to showcase the many different aspects of FHS. From gravity-defying gymnastics displays in the Gym to visually spectacular experiments in the Chemistry and Physics labs, it was wonderful to have so many prospective Year 7 students join us to explore what life could be like for them in September 2023.

Following the tours and demonstrations, families were invited to a series of talks in the School Hall delivered by our Headmistress, Mrs Woodcock; two members of our Head Girl’s Team, Saskia and Jo; parents Mr Taylor and Mrs Fishlock; and eight enthusiastic Thirds, who passionately spoke about their experience of their first five weeks at FHS. Guests also got the opportunity to tour our new Sixth Form Centre, Linhope House, which offers the perfect transition between school and university, showing our prospective students what they can aim for should they choose to come to FHS.

The evening was a great opportunity for prospective families to see the School to come to life, and it was a pleasure to have so many families join us. Thank you to all who came.

Please visit here for more information about September 2023 11+ entry, including details on how to register.

Registration closes on Friday 11th November 2022.
