Our annual Prize Giving took place on Thursday 5th October.

The ceremony took place in the stunning surroundings of Cadogan Hall, where pupils, staff, parents and friends were joined by VIPs, including governors and local Preparatory School heads, for an evening of celebration and artistic performances.

On arrival, guests were treated to a beautiful musical performance by the Pink Ladies jazz ensemble before entering the auditorium ready for Prize Giving. Following a speech by the Chair of Governors and Mr Fillingham, in which he spoke about the charitable work undertaken and international exchanges developed; girls were awarded academic, co-curricular and achievement awards to much applause from the audience.

Presentations were interspersed with a dramatic re-enactment of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, “There is no rose” sung by The 15, and an oboe solo composed by Benjamin Britten and performed by pupil Katie Wheeler.

The evening concluded with an address by the Head Girl, Tabitha Dickson, and the singing of the School Hymn.

Thank you to family and friends for joining us for such a special evening and congratulations to all the girls who received awards for their hard work, dedication and progress in their chosen subjects and co-curricular activities. We look forward to awarding next year’s prizes!
