For the fourth presentation in our Women of Influence Lecture Series 2018 we welcomed Nikkie Aiken to Francis Holland on Friday 9th February.

Nikkie Aiken is a conservative party politician who was elected Leader of Westminster City Council and has been responsible for the introduction of a youth and gang violence prevention programme. Nikkie spoke positively about the difference she feels her work, and that of her council-members, is making to Westminster City and her passion for issues affecting Londoners, such as air quality and housing. At the end of her talk she highlighted how important it is for girls to consider a career in politics and encouraged FHS pupils to get in touch with her if they would like to find out more.

Thank you to Nikkie Aiken for taking time to visit FHS and we look forward to our next Women of Influence lecture after half term.
