Congratulations to the students who took part in the Debating For All Middle School Shield Debating Competition on Thursday 17^th March. Seven students attended: Amber Lomnitzer, Amira Hamshere, Athena Angelopoulos, Katie Landau, Lara O’Driscoll, Orielle Garson-Sweidan. All of these students should be incredibly proud of themselves. They debated against teams up to two years older than themselves from schools including Putney High, St. Paul’s and Harrow. Special mention to Amber and Lara who won both their debates against three other teams. We are also very impressed with and grateful to two of the judges Molly Campbell Butcher and Clara Von Baeyer who performed their challenging duties with great professionalism. Thanks also to Ms. Willis who accompanied the students to the competition.
