During the October half term, the Junior Choir went to Paris to perform at Disneyland.

We started our journey at St Pancras station to go on the Eurostar for our adventure. After about an hour and a half , we arrived. We immediately headed onto our tour bus for a full tour of Paris on our way to the hotel, where we learnt about many famous landmarks and streets, including the Eiffel Tower.

When we finally arrived to our hotel, we were all so excited for the day ahead. We all were singing along to Disney songs and even giving a little show to the teachers downstairs. This was personally one of my favourite memories of the trip.

The next morning, we had to get up early, but it was all worth it as we were going to the main event: Disneyland. We all rushed to get onto the bus, whilst chattering amongst ourselves about all the rides we were wanting to go on.

When we arrived, it was like a dream come true. The whole park was magical, and we couldnā€™t believe our eyes. After a few hours of looking around the park, it was time to perform. While we were backstage, we learnt how to do a very special Disney smile. You basically must smile like you are about to laugh if you want to try it out. The performance was amazing and thrilling. We had so much fun performing, and all the hours of practice was worth it all. We then had the rest of the day to go on all the rides, which of course were so fun. We also stayed for the fireworks which were phenomenal. It was like our childhood was flashing before our eyes. After a wonderful day we obviously were exhausted, and we fell asleep almost instantly.

For our last day, we went back to Paris for some more sight-seeing. We visited the Montparnasse Tower, where we could see all of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and going on a boat tour. We had so much fun as well as going shopping of course. But it was time to go back home. We were all so sad to leave but now we have memories that will stay with us for a lifetime.

On Sunday 15th October, the Junior Choir went on a trip to Paris. We all met at St Pancras International and boarded the Eurostar with no disruption. Once we were in Paris, we went on a bus tour to some of the most famous landmarks in Paris such as: the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-ƉlysĆ©es and especially the Eiffel Tower where many photos and selfies were taken.Ā  After a dinner of cordon bleu, we all hung out around the hotel until bedtime.

On the second day, awake at 7:30, we drove to Disneyland Paris! We performed on stage at Disney as part of our Disney Performing Arts on Stage Programme which was an amazing experience. After our performance on a Disney stage, we got changed and headed out to the rides and fun of the park! My favourite ride was Hyperspace Mountain which is a rollercoaster with loop the loops and sharp turns. We met up with everyone else at 9:00pm and walked to the main street to watch the fireworks.

The next day we had a breakfast of hot chocolate and croissants before heading out to Montparnasse Tower, where we took the lift to the top floor to look at the amazing view! The 360 degree viewing gallery had an excellent panorama of Paris. Afterwards, we went to a pizzeria with a wide variety of choices including desert pizzas containing apple and cinnamon or cheese and honey. Once everyone had eaten and many coca colas were drank we went shopping in Sephora and bought food for the train home in McDonald’s and Starbucks. We then went on a boat tour down the river Seine and saw the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame before hopping on the train back to London.
