Yesterday evening, we hosted our first Friendly Fifths Dinner: a very special black tie supper to thank the Lower Fifth for being such fantastic pastoral ambassadors and role models for the Thirds this year.

The evening began with a drinks reception in the library, where once again our wonderful catering team had outdone themselves. Girls and staff enjoyed a range of Hawaiian themed mocktails and Nosecco and some delectable canapés, as well as a fancy dress photobooth!

Our guests then made their way to the Senior Hall, which had been beautifully decorated for the occasion. Dr El Akel welcomed our guests, then Mr Fillingham gave a poignant speech on the importance and value of the Lower Fifths acting as mentors for the Thirds.

Next came a delicious sit down meal, followed by much jollity in the form of some legendary kahoots quizzes.

Thank you so much to Dr El Akel for organising and to our catering and facilities departments for delivering such a brilliant event, which we hope will become an annual tradition!
