As a school, we signed up to the Great British Spring Clean national campaign which aims to raise awareness of reducing waste and litter picking in your local area so that communities can come together to make a national and global difference.

At FHRP, our Eco Society collaborated with the Art and Geography Departments to hold our first ever ‘Trash to Treasure’ exhibition on Monday 31 March.Ā  Pupils were challenged with the task of crafting brand new creations from typical household rubbish.

With almost 100 entries, from bird boxes to jewellery, the girls produced some truly marvellous creations that represent our impact as a growing population on Earth. It was tough for our Heads of Art and Geography to judge winners!

We were blown away by the effort and the entries and can’t wait to host this event again next year!
