It’s Discovery Week!

This week the Lower Fourth have enjoyed a science-themed week with a host of activities, workshops and trips.

On Monday the year group set off for the Science Museum, harnessing FHS’s love for discovering more on our doorsteps. The trip put the LIV in great stead for Tuesday where, as well as taking part in workshops building architectural structures from bamboo, tie-dying t-shirts using homemade dyes and solving a murder in a forensics workshop, they gathered for the Science Fair Finals. Wednesday saw the LIV out and about again, this time to Kew Gardens to learn more about plants and wildlife. Discovery Week ended on Thursday with an all-day robotics workshop!
