It was wonderful to welcome 36 exhibitors from industries ranging from teaching to acting, orthodontics to events, law to aviation, to speak to the UV, LVI and UVI and their families at our Careers Fair yesterday evening.

The evening began with a fascinating talk from Dr Luisa Affuso, Chief Economist at Ofcom and former Academic Economist at the University of Cambridge, in the Ivor Place Hall.

Pupils and families then made their way around to speak to different exhibitors, all of whom offered invaluable insider knowledge, expertise and advice for students. It was a pleasure to welcome back six of our alumnae as exhibitors: Ali Gillum, Events Producer, Ariane Sampson, Orthodontist, Zoe Silkstone, Senior Account and Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble, Zoë Cannell, Classics Teacher at Channing School, Emma Wong, Consultant at Butterfly, and Rose Wright, Television and Radio Broadcaster at GB News.

We were also treated to an excellent talk by Alex Smith, who is a Pilot at British Airways.

Thank you so much to our Careers Department for organising this amazing event and to all of our exhibitors – there truly was something for everyone and the girls left feeling inspired, empowered and enlightened by learning about careers they have always dreamed of, as well as careers they may never even have heard of.
