On Wednesday 28th September, we held our Careers Evening.

We welcomed 500 students, parents, alumni and staff, from both Francis Holland, Regent’s Park and Francis Holland, Sloane Square. Over 45 guest speakers attended to talk about their various professions, be it in a presentation, an individual consultation or a small group setting. These included Victoria Broackes, Exhibition Curator at the V&A, and Dan Isaacs, Deputy Editor for World Service News Programmes at the BBC, amongst many others. The professions represented ranged from architects, criminal barristers and curators to film and TV producers, anaesthetists, bankers and artists, just to name a few.

One Lower Fifth student commented, ‘I’ve learnt so much about professions (some of which I didn’t even know existed)!’

It was a wonderful evening which gave the girls a fantastic insight into each career. A huge thank you to all our speakers. If you are interested in speaking at our next event, please email jason.bosse@fhs-nw1.org.uk
