On Friday 16 May, we welcomed over 100 guests to our first Gala Dinner, held at the Caledonian Club in Belgravia, in support of our transformational bursary programme, the Gift Campaign. It was a truly unforgettable evening celebrating the life-changing impact of bursaries at Francis Holland Regent’s Park.

The night began with a Champagne Reception, where guests were welcomed with a magical performance by a group of our incredibly talented pupils. They were beautifully accompanied by our Director of Music, Una Murphy, alongside music teachers David Parsons and Jodie Schloss.

Supper was then served in the grand Johnnie Walker Room, where guests were transported by the mesmerising voice of Friederike Krum, award-winning international opera singer and mezzo-soprano. Her performance was nothing short of spectacular and left the room enchanted.

A special highlight was the heartfelt speech delivered by Iszy Shirley, Class of 2015 alumna and former full-fees bursary student, whose powerful story reminded us of the real and lasting impact of our bursary programme. Guests also viewed a short video featuring several former bursary students, whose stories further illustrated the profound difference this support makes.

The energy in the room soared during the live auction, expertly and hilariously led by auctioneer Nicolas Martineau, whose wit and charm encouraged spirited bidding and added a lively spark to the night. The evening concluded with a final, breathtaking performance from Friederike Krum.

We are absolutely thrilled to share that, thanks to the remarkable generosity of our parents, we raised an astounding £100,000 in support of the Gift Campaign. To everyone who attended, donated, bid, sang, spoke, or supported in any way – thank you. Your generosity and belief in the power of a Francis Holland Regent’s Park education will help transform the lives of ambitious, gifted girls who would not otherwise be able to access the education we offer.

We are so proud of our school community and so grateful to each and every one of you who made this extraordinary evening possible.
