On Wednesday 7th November we hosted our annual joint careers fair, welcoming Francis Holland School, Sloane Square. Drawn from our parent body, alumnae and the friends and family of our teachers, the speakers brought their expertise into the school for the evening to share their industry knowledge and to advise our girls on the vast opportunities available today.

Some kindly gave special talks on their professions while all offered their time, insider knowledge and informal consultations. There were a broad range of careers represented, from Business Owners and Pilots to Freelance Broadcast Journalists and Development Engineers.

The aim was to encourage bigger-picture thinking for primarily girls in the Upper Fifth and the Sixth Form and ensure that sensible A level and degree choices are made in order to keep doors to future careers open. The girls certainly had their minds opened to careers they may have never even heard of or dreamed of pursuing.

We are hugely grateful to all our guests for their time and expertise.
