SPORT
At Francis Holland Regent’s Park, sport is inclusive, empowering, and inspiring.
Our Sixth Form PE programme offers a perfect balance of choice, challenge, and opportunity, catering to those who wish to compete at a high level or simply stay active and healthy.
Sixth Form students enjoy a weekly timetabled PE lesson, with the flexibility to choose a different sport or activity each term. This personalised approach encourages students to take ownership of their physical development, building confidence and a commitment to lifelong fitness. Activities available include:
- Netball
- Football
- Yoga
- Dance
- Boxing
- Tennis
- Cricket
- Rounders
Our PE department is always open to new suggestions, ensuring students can explore activities that interest them.
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
In addition to timetabled lessons, students can participate in an extensive co-curricular sports programme, including competitive fixtures, training sessions, and clubs across various sports. Leadership opportunities allow students to mentor younger peers, assist with clubs and fixtures, and share their expertise.
SPORTS LEADERSHIP
OPPORTUNITIES
Lower Sixth students can opt for a specialised Sports Elective, where they gain hands-on experience teaching fundamental movement skills at a local primary school. This elective helps develop coaching, communication, and leadership skills—key qualities for success in any field.
