FUTURES
Where to next? Whatever you plan to do and wherever you plan to go, we’ll prepare you for life beyond school.
CARVE YOUR FUTURE
Our Futures Department will help give you the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to succeed in higher education and at work.
Get to meet professionals from a wide range of industries at our biennial Futures Fair. Learn about different careers from guest speakers in the Sixth Form lecture series. Find out how to budget sensibly, write a CV that gets you noticed or nail an interview in the Futures curriculum within The Life Programme. You’ll also have the chance to gain firsthand experience of different professions through visits to leading firms like BNP Paribas and EY.
HIGHER EDUCATION SUPPORT
Whether you’re choosing a university course, degree apprenticeship, drama or art school, or taking a gap year, we can give you all the advice you need.
UNIVERSITY APPLICATIONS
UK APPLICATIONS
Support begins in Lower Sixth with career exploration sessions and introducing the Unifrog platform. Our annual Higher Education Evening in March launches the higher education journey to students and parents with specialist breakout sessions for STEM applications, (including Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Sciences), overseas applications, drama and art school applications and Oxbridge applications.
COMPETITIVE APPLICATIONS
Thinking of applying to Oxbridge or Imperial College London? We provide extensive preparation, including subject-specific mentoring, preparation for admissions tests and interview practice through collaborative sessions with boys’ schools such as Wetherby Senior and Westminster. Weekly Critical Thinking sessions in the Spring Term of the Lower Sixth will challenge you to explore your subjects deeply.
“In the Sixth Form, there are so many different opportunities… they prepare you for that next stage of life really well.”
