CO-CURRICULAR
Be curious. Be creative. Above all, have fun!
Our clubs and societies add something special to school life, helping pupils discover new interests, learn and enjoy every moment along the way.
CLUBS & SOCIETIES
We encourage all pupils to join at least one club or society, led by our teachers and student ambassadors. We believe that engaging in life beyond the classroom enriches the school experience and supports academic achievement.
From Chess to Cricket, Photography to Sci-Fi Film club, Debate to Dance, there’s something for everyone – before school, at lunchtimes and after school. Each club offers pupils an opportunity to broaden their skill set. These skills are monitored during your daughter’s time with us to identify any gaps and check she’s gaining a wide range of life skills.
All ideas for new clubs are welcomed! Recent additions include Fencing and Esports.
TRIPS & VISITS
Educational and cultural enrichment matter: our trips are designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence and create memories that last a lifetime.
The adventure begins the moment pupils join us in Year 7: our exciting PGL Induction Trip is a fantastic few days packed with outdoor activities, team-building challenges and plenty of laughs. It’s the perfect way for students to bond, build friendships and start school life with confidence and enthusiasm.
Opportunities come thick and fast as pupils progress through the school: from stepping back in time at historical sites to exploring ecosystems in local nature reserves to soaking up London culture.
International trips across the year groups offer unforgettable experiences, such as ski trips, sports tours, subject-specific trips (for example, our very popular NASA trip) and Year 10 language trips to European cities. Recent highlights include a Geography and Biology expedition to Costa Rica where pupils explored lush rainforests, volcanic landscapes and biodiversity hotspots.

THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a nationally recognised programme for students aged 14 and above.
Each of its levels – Bronze, Silver, and Gold – involves a structured journey of personal development while making lifelong memories. Pupils complete four key sections: Skill, Volunteering, Physical and an Expedition.
The DofE Award complements our commitment to holistic education, helping pupils stand out on university and job applications and equipping them with skills for life – whether hiking in the Chilterns or volunteering in their local community.
