On Friday 24th June, 11 FHS students from LIV and UIV were part of the Young Leaders Partnership Showcase Day at Hampden Gurney Primary School. This partnership project has involved 35 students from 3 different schools – Francis Holland, St Marylebone School and All Souls Catholic College. Students had three workshop sessions from the education department of the vocal group, VOCES8. These sessions developed students’ skills in leading vocal sessions & teaching songs. The culmination of the project was the Showcase Day at Hampden Gurney School. All of the participants led sessions with students from Years 2-5, teaching them specific songs. Students from all 3 schools did a fantastic job. They led with clarity and energy and were able to draw out ideas for actions to accompany the songs from the primary school classes. Well done to FHS girls who took part.
